Dr. Tim Konicek, Vice President, resides at the West Coast Office in Orange County, California.

Dr. Konicek spent 17 years in the consumer products industry with S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc., a $5B in sales private company in Racine, Wisconsin. Two years ago he left to start a successful securities trading company. Dr. Konicek has B. A., M. S., and Ph. D. degrees in Organic Chemistry.

In R & D at S. C. Johnson, he managed and led the development and commercialization of numerous successful new products that continue to generate over $200M/year in sales. He is skilled in all aspects of product development from concept to commercialization including positioning and advertising development, strategic marketing, market research, technology application and refinement.

At S. C. Johnson he developed an extensive technology search program, including a wide network of small technology companies, venture capital firms, academics and government laboratories. He routinely reviewed 700 to 800 new technologies per year in a variety of fields including chemicals, materials, electronics, and biotechnology.

Dr. Konicek structured strategic alliances with numerous venture-backed companies and managed the resulting development programs via geographically dispersed, multi-disciplinary teams.
