Lyle E. Paul

Mr. Paul has over 30 years of engineering experience with expertise in project management and mechanical and structural design engineering. Prior to his work in the medical device industry, he worked in various positions’ in heavy industry and as Plant Engineering Manager at two locations.  Mr. Paul is knowledgeable in pneumatics, hydraulics, air logic circuits, electronic logic circuits, electrical circuits and structural analysis and design.

Mr. Paul has a background of 14 years in engineering, project management and R&D with several pharmaceutical and medical device companies (e.g., Allergan, Chiron, Alcon Laboratories, American Hospital Supply and Baxter Healthcare).  Mr. Paul has served in various capacities as Project Engineer, Principal Engineer and Engineering Manager as related to the area of research, design and development of pharmaceutical and medical device’s and the equipment required for their manufacture.  He holds a technical degree and is the inventor or co-inventor of eight patents.  One major corporation honored Mr. Paul as its inventor of the year for a product design used by the company today in over 500,000 products annually.

 Mr. Paul has made major contributions to each of the above mentioned companies in both product’s and equipment which have greatly increased their profit’s.  Mr. Paul’s strength is in the field of product design and automation of existing equipment and processes as well as the design of totally new systems.  He also has experience and was responsible for the site selection, layout and making operational of several start-up Medical Device Companies.
